A valid UT record of undergraduate degree (if not matriculated in undergraduate degree programs such as B.S., B.A., B.S./BCAM, B.A., B.S./PhD, B.A./PhD, MSA, MD, DPH, Harm.) in biology, chemistry, psychology, philosophy, or physical science is required. At least one must have been completed at a regional state institution by the applicant's senior year of high school; or one must have been completed during the applicant's senior year of high school. See the requirements for admission to the Medical School of the TMB. 2. A grade point average of 2.0 or better for all courses completed as part of an undergraduate college education for premed, preheat, or preclinical students for consideration of undergraduate credit for the major for the first year. 3. Students of color, particularly African Americans and Asian Americans, are strongly encouraged to apply to TMB.
