The appeal alleges that appellant was not adequately informed that the cause of her injury was work-related. The appeal alleges in part misapplication of the facts and law that appellant failed to make the required showing that she was entitled to damages and also that there was lack of prejudice to appellant by the denial of summary judgment. The appeal alleges the failure to establish that appellant was disabled. The action is dismissed for failing to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. The petition for appeal is denied. The employer has been granted summary judgment for the plaintiff for all her claims for damages and costs, and all statutory claims against her employer. The employer is granted summary judgment for the appellant, because the trial court found that the evidence did not show that the cause of her injury was work-related. The trial court awarded the appellant 500,000 in compensatory damages. The trial court additionally award the appellant 20,000 in punitive damages. Pursuant to the terms of her order, which included a mandatory 50,000 bond, the appellant is on home confinement in the Williamson County Adult Detention Center. Appellant is represented by Kevin N.
