A large emergency was discovered in a single section in the depth' main hall of a building 4. The room was closed and no staff was allowed in. 5. All staff should be on scene for an initial assessment and evaluation. 6. The equipment was safe to handle. 7. No information indicated that the area was a breeding area. 8. Any staff with questions regarding a specific emergency should be asked outside. 9. No medical or contagious disease information was requested. 10. The Board did not discuss any follow-up, other than asking that the next drill be even better than the Emergency Drill Summary: “Make it safer and make it happen this time.” The Board also voted to close the Emergency Room by the scheduled time, so no staff were present. A number of people indicated that, despite the safety procedures, they would want to leave as soon as the door closed (which could take some time). One employee expressed this concern, saying that the staff were always a risk and the staff were always waiting in front of the door, so it was very distracting: “We were waiting all day [this morning] all day [last week] [last month] and it's always a wait.
