For those of you who can't view the files directly, in the lower half of this lesson, they will be made available. For those of you who want them in formats other than those used in the above lesson, there are some good instructions provided to get a copy of your data out of the database. But remember, as you begin using this database, you must follow all the restrictions which came with the original license. So start by downloading your data file, right-click on it, and choose the option “Save Target As”. This file will be a .txt file (to save the data in a text file) or in .dbf file format (for use in a database program like SQL Server). It also needs to have a “.txt” extension. The same process applies to the database you made when you created the “Tutorial for Teachers,” including the lesson from it. You will also need to add the same restrictions to your own Data, as you made the restrictions for the Tutorial. The next few lessons, as you have seen, will help you with the restrictions which are placed on the data. But you may also find that you want to play with the data yourself. You don't have to wait for the next lesson to begin. You can download your own Data here: SQL Server 2000 is licensed to you for a period of one year, starting on your purchase date. If you purchased SQL Server 2000 less than one year before, you must contact customer support and request a refund. The license is non-transferable. You may access your license from anywhere. You may not alter, distribute, copy, or sell your license, in whole or in part, or use your license for any other purpose.
