The ULM Station does not own the property leased by the Alumni Center to the ULM Station except the LA station. No. 2. All lease agreements between the ULM Station and the LA Hotel are strictly reserved for ULM's use. No. 3. A contract is required in order to hold the contract at the Monroe station. Contract No1 and No. 2 do not have an expiration date, and would need to be re-signed no more than once a year. No. 4. In order for the contract to be renewed, the University of Louisiana at Monroe must file an application for an annual renewal that includes an update to the previous annual rental fees and the contract. Contract No1 and No. 2 will not be renewed and the deposit will be applied to the next contract. No. 5. A rental fee for the LA Station will be established annually by the University of Louisiana at Monroe. This fee will be established by the LA Office of Housing and Administrative Services. For the 2017 contract year (September 2, 2017 – September 30, 2018), a new 30.00 monthly fee will apply, and the rate will double the previous fee (approximately 8%). This increase in rent is necessary to accommodate the increasing costs of operating and maintaining the Alumni Center and the LA Station. For the 2018 contract year (September 2, 2018 – September 30, 2019) the rate will double to 60.00 monthly and the fee will triple the previous fee (approximately 20%). Please inform the station management of this if you have any questions. No. 6. Students and visitors who are not ULM students or guests should not be allowed in the Alumni Center after hours. All employees of the City and County of Monroe should be allowed in. Violators will be asked to leave the premises immediately after entering the Alumni Center. Students and visitors who have purchased a reservation must be out of the Alumni Center by the time closing time for the day arrives. It is also our policy to remove all personal property not needed by patrons that is left overnight in the Alumni Center.
