The Institute of Bankers The Institute of Bankers is an interdepartmental research center within the Financial Services Authority. As part of our ongoing focus on the financial system, we also host a Financial Research & Monitoring Group on Risk Management, which brings together senior banking sector representatives from Financial Services Authority, Public Sector Supervision, the Treasury and other government bodies to discuss and analyze current developments in the financial sector, and draw lessons from them. Some current topics being discussed are: financial innovation, regulatory risk management, and financial regulation. The Institute of Bankers welcomes all interested members and students.
