The benefits in an associate policy are limited by the contract between the association and its member and do not include: benefits which, under the circumstances, are not payable (as far as the limits applicable to associate policies are concerned) under the terms of such associate policy, any benefits arising from the transfer of liabilities to the associate; a benefit which would have accrued under the policy if the association had acquired it in the same circumstances as if it had been issued to it alone; or A benefit which is for any other reason exempt from the limits in the term of the policy. However, the benefits paid out by the association under the terms of the associate policy are the responsibility of the association.
