All applicants will be considered for participation in the Government Youth Investment Fund. Individuals must be between 19 and 22 years of age and must be in full, effective and paid-up membership of a youth group approved by the National Trust. Applicants must also be an in-house member of the group, a sponsor/guarantor/advisor, and must have been in good standing with the National Trust for the past 3 months and agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Youth Investment Fund. The National Trust reserves the right to refuse to renew the Youth Investment Fund membership of a sponsor/guarantor/advisor without notice. We reserve the right to terminate/suspend an applicant's membership at any time. The deadline for submitting an application is November 30, 2018, at 11:59pm PST. The National Trust reserves the right to accept or reject applications at any point between submission and the program's commencement on January 29, 2019. Applicants are expected to present themselves at National Trust Headquarters for selection interviews at the conclusion of the program. If chosen for the program, applicants are subject to be trained by the Youth Investment Fund staff throughout the course of the program, and must meet program participation requirements. Training will be provided through a variety of methods including online video interviews or seminars. All training sessions are facilitated by certified professionals, such a social workers, counselors, psychologists, teachers and youth leaders. The Youth Investment Fund reserves the right to modify or cancel a specific program based on the needs of the applicants.
