The council's formal business being completed, it adjourned at 7:24 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, Council adjourned at noon. Council President Morris announced that a Community Advisory Committee, to be appointed by staff and volunteers, would meet on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Albany Convention Center at 1407 West Broadway, Room 104 A; where the following members would be appointed by the Chair : The Board of Trustees, Council Members Callao, Casey, Cont, Ellis, Baha, Igor, Mack, McLaughlin, Rosenzweig, and Scale. The Board of Trustees will consider the proposed budget for 2, presented to them by Executive Director of the Office of Administration and Finance, Sharon Vinson. The Budget Report was presented at the meeting of the City Council Finance Committee on Tuesday, July 13, 2008, at 3:00 p.m., followed by the budget hearing. Council Members Cont, Baha, Gordon, McDermott, and Smith were the only no votes, leaving them on their own for the budget hearing. Council President Morris announced that a Community Advisory Committee, to be appointed by staff and volunteers, would meet on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at 8 a.m. at the Albany Convention Center at 1407 West Broadway, Room 104 A: where the following members would be appointed by the Chair : The Board of Trustees, Councilman Baha, councilman Scale, Council Member Igor, Councilman Gordon, Councilman McDermott, and Councilman Smith.
