The group that gave me a gift card to shop for all those wonderful things at the Zoo was also super friendly and helpful. There were tons of young people there. I couldn't think of a better place or better group in the world to get the group together. The only issue is getting them to come back in the future. My suggestion is to open a Wolf Creek Her Demo every 2 weeks. The cost for the Demo is less than 30 a person. It is a great idea, and the animals are so easy to care for (see details below of the care information). The park is a great location in the heart of south central Toledo and is at the top of the north slope. You can't miss it from the air if you fly into Toledo. The park is about 40-minute drive north of Toledo from I 84 (I90) or north and north off of US 71. Parking is available in and around the park. The park is located behind the old Stokes County courthouse/construction site near Wolfe Creek and south of Wood Ridge Road on the east side of Wolfe Creek. It is open daily between the hours of 9am and 5pm. There is a big sign in the park saying OPEN. Directions to the Park (from I84) Eastbound traffic go north on Butler, east on South Woodridge Road, and right down Wolfe Creek Canyon into the park. Parking is provided in the park at the east side of Wolfe Creek. There is plenty of parking available on the west side of Wolfe Creek and a few yards off the roadway. Directions to the Zoo (from I90) Go south on I90 for 15 miles and the sign on the right will point you right. It will take you through the city of Middletown on the west side of the freeway, until you come to Wolfe Creek Canyon. Follow the road straight through Wolfe Creek Canyon to the park. From US 71 go north on US 71 for 22 miles, to Wolfe Creek Canyon. Travel about a half mile into Wolfe Creek canyon and look for a parking lot with trees around a mile off of the roadway.
Wolfe Creek Park Zoo is a group facility for adults and older children only. Please do not bring children. If you wish to take a tour of the Zoo, please be an adult. Group tours are available in October and November only. See the schedule for details.
