In each year, each race features an enduro-style final loop, with a two-lap time bonus, and a 10-miler with bonus miles. Each of the eight races start and complete in Brook Park and the loop in the main race area is approximately six and one-half miles long with one-lap bonus miles. In each race, the overall winner will receive 10,000 in cash, the overall second will receive 5,000, the overall third will receive 2,500, the overall fourth will receive 1,500, the overall fifth will receive 800, and the overall sixth will receive 500. Each competitor will receive a trophy for first, second, and third places respectively. The top-finished male and female cyclist in each class, will also receive gold medals, depending on the number of finishers. The overall top-three male and female racers in each class in the overall prize money will also receive “gold” medals of their own. The overall top ten finishers in each class in the overall prize money will also be awarded bronze medals. In the age group-under-40 category, the winning age group from the “gold” and “silver” categories receives silver medals. In the age group-40 to 48 categories, the winning age group from the “gold” and “silver” categories receives gold medals. In each category with gold awards, the age group winners' ages in each category are also listed on a separate section of the plaque at the finish line. The plaque will be presented to the overall and age-group champions and bronze medals will be awarded to the third and fourth place finishers for each age group. The overall and age group champions also receive medals for “gold” and “silver” titles, but bronze medals will be awarded to the third, fourth, and fifth place finishers in the overall and age group categories. In order to qualify, competitors must register their bikes at the registration station at the end of the first loop. If you have an existing CHP (Certified Bike Pro) member number, you do not have to register again, however you will be required to show proof of your membership. You must then obtain your race number from the CHP (Certified Bike Pro) office. The race will start promptly at 1:35 p.m. (See race start times) and will finish promptly at 3:20 p.m. If the race is cancelled or postponed, you will be notified.
