This paper then proposes one, but as an addendum to a model of cultural diversity rather than as a new model — because it does not require that a model be in fact the 'solution' to the problem, and so it can be formulated as a general descriptive model rather than a formal model of anything. The paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the general approach, and some general challenges to applying any particular approach to a particular case. As such, the paper does not propose any new model that should be considered in any particular case; the model used for this case was proposed in this paper as an addendum to a general model of cultural diversity for reasons that follow. Students: A few hours per week of analysis and the creation of a spreadsheet — all your own. If you can make a spreadsheet (or two or three or a few hundred of them) for the problems described in this class, and you're familiar with data analysis, then I could do with a few of our students coming later! Course topics and homework assignments: Part 1: Overview and historical background to the historical models of cultural diversity. Part 2: The history of different scenarios of cultural diversity (i.e. what we call ethnic, ethnic-like, ethnic-conflict (ethnic competition), economic-ethnic, economic-conflict). Part 3: The historical dynamics of the cultural groups: how does historical interaction affect their identities and the nature of their behavior (e.g. political vs. personal behavior, economic vs. ethnic behavior (how do differences between the members of each group affect the distribution of skills and opportunities)). Part 4: The interaction of cultures (and the historical effects), i.e. how do these patterns or change over time? (e.g., do culture spread because of historical influences (i.e. through interaction) or do they spread themselves through cultural processes. Part 5: Cultural models of cultural diversity. How they work (or not), how does it compare with other models that you might have read (e.g. genetic models vs. historical population models). Students interested in reading about historical theories regarding the spread of culture among diverse groups should read the following: David Hub's “The Myth of the Aryan Invasion” and other essays on the subject, or the following two articles: “Angiogenesis, Population Dynamics, and the Evolution of Culture” by John T. Flynn “The Spread of American Culture” by Rolf S.
