The contest for the technical performance on the merits in three major aspects for the sake of the technical competence and of attracting new trade in Germany is to be a competition by the central association of the German shoemakers' trade (ZDs) on the merit from the technical and market aspects for the sake of the technical competence and to increase the image of the trade in relation to a wider consumer base and for attracting new trade in Germany. How were the judges selected The judges: Tina Chinese — The German shoemaker has not yet been nominated to the DHL's international judges program, but she should be, and will be, soon. Tina has shown high levels of professional competence in many areas of shoe making, from the production of shoes on a shoemaker's own factory floor, to the manufacture of production and finished footwear including, for example, women's shoes and high heels. She is an internationally recognized teacher of shoe making on a worldwide basis. She is currently on the editorial board and chairman of the German Shoe making Association (DSA), the German trade association for the manufacture of shoes and other shoes and their related products. Furthermore, she has given three conferences on shoe making in the U.S. and one at a conference in Italy during the summer of 2011. Her interest is international, both regional and world, and she is actively involved in many international initiatives concerning trade in shoe making. Tina is from the Württemberg state, which is very proud of her native country and of her culture. She was elected a member of the German National Honorary Council for the Cultural Heritage, the Württemberg Culture & Heritage Award Committee and Member of the German Trade Board. She was also appointed to the German Cultural Heritage Commission under her state. Furthermore, she had the opportunity to give seminars at several international conferences. Tina is also active as a member of the national committee of the German Association of Professional Shoemakers and the association group for the protection and promotion of the German Shoe making Industry. She has served as a member of the executive committee of the DSA since 2009. Joachim Chinese is a member of the Executive Committee of ZDs, a representative of the ZDs trade association of Germany. Marcel Schweppes is a member of the ZDs Trade Association Executive Committee.
