from the United States to Nepal is permitted to take
any goods of the person's choice with the person's
documents when bringing them to the country.
The. S. program allows foreign-owned enterprises
to import goods from China, Taiwan, India, and
other countries that aren't t covered by the U. S. Export
Administration Act of 1979 (10 U.S.C.A. § 461 et seq.).
The. S.GSP is authorized under the law to import
from the countries listed above duty-free.
The. GSP applies to:
U.S.-owned enterprises with exporters
that operate in the United States;
those who have entered into an agreement
with the Government of The United States (GSA) or
the U.S. Department of Commerce to establish an export
business relationship;
those whose exporters are organized with the aim
of creating, providing, or improving the United States
economy, including those foreign-owned enterprises that
serve as primary suppliers or exporters for U.S.
companies seeking to expand or grow in the United States;and
those foreign-owned enterprises who are actively involved in the
production, distribution, or marketing of products for export to the
United States.
The. S.GSP applies to:
any person who is a citizen (green card holder)
of the United States and is either:
a person who has taken a course of education or training in the
U.S.
or has entered into an agreement (agreement) with the
GSA to operate in the United States.
The government of the United States recognizes that the. S.GSP is a benefit for people in the United States and is subject to certain restrictions, including
requiring that those who purchase the items through the. S.S. program are at least 21 years of age.
In addition, the. S.GSP requires that the items be:
registered with the Secretary of the Treasury's, Bureau of Foreign
Commerce (Finance) and the U.S. Department of Commerce's,
International Trade Administration
or, in the case of those who are entering the United States from one of the countries listed below, be registered to each entity that is the primary beneficiary of the. S.GSP program.
