Hey guys so this is my last step I'm going to make this quick as I'm like right on time, but this is my congressman interview with the board of those of your officers for nomination so wish me luck I'll see you out two words, and we're back, so I just finished took about 15 to 18 minutes there was only two guys as opposed to like five guys last year they didn't really say much to me this year I told them I was in the Corps, and I'm in college I know they were like oh we thought you were in high school, so I don't know I said I burned out high school she's a good thing I guess, and I don't know I thought they would ask the questions like he would normally if you looked it up I like potential questions Mike I prepare for those questions, but they didn't really ask me too many questions they said a good chance an appointment, but we all know what that means I ain't got in last year but yeah I think I don't know I feel good though because they seemed pretty pleased with me, but I don't know but turn on the air so when you're going into an interview for your Congressman B column obviously look confident sit straight up okay don't slouch or anything because they're judging on your appearance already so don't look like a slouch they may ask you questions like why should the American taxpayer spend 400000 on you or say why do you want to go to a service academy what do you want to be when you're in military so be prepared to ask to answer those questions oh be charming okay like make them laugh and be like you okay oh do that I don't know make them believe that they should give you a nomination okay because these are the guys that they're like your ticket in nomination is your third main thing you need to get into the Academy so make them believe that you're you deserve the Academy so, but honestly it isn't that hard okay so if I could do it you can do it, so you know oh yeah, so it's after your interview if you do get a nomination it'll take about 2 or 3 months for them to send you a letter in saying you got a nomination so if you don't get it in a while stay calm about it good because I don't I was freaking out about the nomination so just saying so after this video you might not see me for a while because it's nothing else really going on after this is just the waiting game so if you have been following me on this journey thank you for watching ok you have gone through so much than the average college kid or high school kid okay this is not a simple write an essay and send it in your college application this by finishing this application it really says something about you okay so even if you don't get into the Academy go for ROTC still try to come get a military contract or whatever then Naval Academy or any service kind of me is not the last option okay there are many options and if you really want it they're out there for you so just believe that you can do it because getting in is not the final thing you're still going to have to go through...
