In the case of a two-dimensional number representation system we employ a two-stage process: a) we find all the combinations of two digits between 0 and 9, 2 and 13, 3 and 5, and so on, that can be uniquely represented with that system and b) select the optimal way to represent that combination using that system, and then select the most powerful representation to create that unique representation of 0-9-2-3-4-5-6- ... This process ensures that the resulting parametric number representation system will be a combination of a representation for some particular n-dimensional square, called a “base number”, of all the possible values of m-1 non-overlapsing numbers, called a “field of numbers”, and of 1-n representations of the base number, called a “base number representation”, and that each base number representation can be associated to a unique field of numbers, called a “base number space”. By first selecting the most powerful representations then using that set of representations as the basis numbers for our parametric number representation system, we have an order-of-m evaluation which allows us to produce a representation for a complex field of numbers and to select the most powerful parametric representation in our list, e.g, to represent an arbitrary-complex field of numbers and then select the base set appropriate to create that representation. The most powerful base number representation is then created by a process which allows us to select the largest base number representation from an infinite list of base number representations. The entire evaluation process takes 2 × 10³ log2n time using a finite computer. This evaluation process is iterated until the system is in a well-defined, stable state. Once it is safe and stable we will take the resulting number and combine it with any other number to form a new number that is a prime number in the chosen base. The parametric number scheme described here can easily be used for applications in the realms of biometrics and authentication in conjunction with barcode applications.
