Classes are taught by licensed instructors with current Texas Department of Family and Protective Services licensed training. All children must be at least 8 years old to attend a Camp. Registration is open to the public. Please sign up early because there is no refund on the fee. Campground fee 25.00 per week 45.00 maximum for 4-week stay. No refunds for cancellations. Maximum of 4 people per camping site. You may bring along the child of the other camp member. A 20.00 cancellation fee will apply. To add a child to your group, you can send the group manager a request with the child on your group's list with the request for the child in the group name. A confirmation number will be sent from the group manager to you so you can send the group manager the confirmation. The group manager will not send the confirmation number until after the group is approved. If the confirmation number is left in the group's list the group manager will use that number to check if more than four people have shown up at a given time. If the maximum number of people are not shown at a given time the group will not receive another confirmation number. You can register a maximum of 2 times per day. If you have more than 4 guests, they will have a 30-minute minimum stay. The maximum stay for the weekend is 7 days with no additional costs for the children. Children under the age of 10 are not allowed on the water. The nature center (see camp page) and camp are open to Austin and Travis County residents only. No pets are allowed in camp. If you plan on bringing your dog on your camping trip and want to know how to handle this in advance, please read up here. Please read the Camp Safety page as well. No more than 100 people are allowed on a trip. Campers must have a valid Texas ID number (driver's license, state identification card). You must bring your child's ID number. If any of the campers have no current ID, they will be asked to leave. You must register at least 48 hours prior to camp, but must submit your application 24 hours prior to camp. A 10 non-refundable deposit applies. Only one deposit per registration for one group.
