You must complete the application and return with your application fee: Payment of membership dues.  Required documents: Completed Application Form.  Two copies of one of the following letters (one for each member/associate): Letter of recommendation from a New York State accredited program director stating the applicant is a full and active member of the NOEL program. Required letter must come directly from the program director. The applicant must be at least 21 years of age and must have completed undergraduate or graduate study in an accredited program. If the applicant is under 21 years of age, the application must be accompanied by a notarized letter from the applicant's parent or legal guardian stating that the applicant is 21 years of age or older. (Note: if the applicant is a former member, the application must be accompanied by any required information for the applicant to qualify for membership in the NOEL program after the program expired). Note: if the applicant has not participated in a New York State approved environmental education program after July 1, 1987, then this letter is not considered “Required” for admission to the program. Letter of recommendation from a program director of a New York State accredited environmental education program stating the applicant is a full-time student in this program. Required letter must come from one of the program directors in your program. If the applicant is not enrolled in another approved program, the application must be accompanied by one of the following letters: Letter from a parent or legal guardian stating that the applicant is a full-time student in a program which does not fall within Title IV. If the applicant is not enrolled in another approved program, the application must be accompanied by one of the following letters: Letter from another program directors in your program. If the applicant is not enrolled in another approved program, the application must be accompanied by letters from two program directors in your program.  All documents must be signed by the applicant. Failure to sign these documents on the application form will render the application void and do not count towards the fee or admission to the NOEL program.
