I often wished I could find out more about them. Unfortunately this is not as simple as it sounds. The National Register of Historic Properties (NRP) has established a policy of not allowing the publication of information about early houses. This policy is based on the belief that a public school or library would not provide the information if it could not confirm the authenticity of the building. The NRP also states that the public cannot benefit from this research unless the authenticity of the building is clearly established. A house that has been altered or altered badly will not be permitted for research, but a building that truly is historical or that does not have any modern changes will be acceptable. A house that is in a desirable area or that has been in a particular area for many years has a very high level of authenticity. The original brick wall was replaced by a new wall built with a concrete base. The bricks were placed on top of the concrete in a straight line across the room. It is very simple and effective.
