A hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m., October 22, 2009, at the Hartford City Hall Conference Room, 500 Pearl Street. It is requested that anyone who attends the board's meeting today please contact his/her respective county commissioner or city council member to submit comments, questions, and concerns. The Hartford County Board of Education and Bridgeport Community Development Corporation will hold a joint hearing on the proposed bond issue, loan or grant to the Bridgeport Community Development Corporation, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2009. Board members and officials are also inviting the public to ask questions of the Hartford County Board at the hearing. If you are unable to attend the hearing please contact: Hartford County Board of Education, Hartford Mayor Daniel Malloy will be present at the hearing and may answer questions at the hearing. Hartford County District Attorney David Fan will present his opinion on the bond issue. Hartford County Commissioners are the final decision makers on Hartford Community Development Corporation's proposal.
