Temporary Class A licenses are subject to one of the following: (i) No Class A licenses may be applied for after March 1, 2014;(ii) Class A licenses may only be issued to those properties within 100 feet of a point of discharge of water under Section 732.1-28.13, and the Class A license holder's address must be a residence, business, or commercial establishment that is primarily located within 100 feet of the point of discharge of water. (iii) Class A licenses are issued for a two-year term, and may be renewed annually. A valid Class A license must be issued before the end of the current license period. 3. All applicants shall pay a 200 (including service charge) fee to the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water Resources, to apply for the temporary Class A license. 4. The issuance and renewal of a Class A license is subject to the approval of the water system's permit and the District Administrator. 5. An applicant for a temporary Class A license shall not conduct percolation testing (including preheating water or testing percolation water) of any water system that is within 75 feet of the property where the applicant resides or a business that the applicant owns, and that is a single-family dwelling or other single-family or multi-family structure that has no more than two dwellings. 6. All persons wishing to conduct preheating water or testing percolation water shall contact the Superintendent or their authorized representative if the system is located indoors. 7. A “primary residence,” by definition, is a person who holds a driver's license or State-issued ID card. A “secondary residence,” by definition, is a person who holds a driver's license or State-issued ID card. (See Section 7.0012 of the General Statutes for definitions.) 8. The temporary Class A license holder shall be responsible for collecting and paying all fees collected by the Superintendent. The Temporary Class A License Holder Identification Card shall contain a photograph of the temporary Class A license holder, the temporary Class A license number, the District/TDD license number, and the owner's signature. A permanent license holder identification card shall not be required. Temporary Class A license holders must present proof of payment by check made payable to the water district or district's permit holder upon registration. The application for a temporary Class A license must be accompanied by the applicant's temporary Class A license registration card and the fee specified in this section.
