Brand Diploma

The purpose of the examination is to determine whether the subject and level of study leading to the degree are well adapted to meet the needs of this profession and, if not, for determining minimum entry requirements for certain advanced degrees (CSMA and SIC). In order to maintain their validity, all information collected by the University of Ottawa will be stored electronically and will be available to verify the results of examination results for an additional 4 years after the examination results have been posted to the University's website. The Brand Diploma is the second degree (under the Master of Education or the Master of Education and Research Program) offered by the College of Education at The University of Western Ontario, as well as one of 12 Bachelors of Education post-secondary degrees offered across Ontario. This degree is intended for entry into a post-secondary teaching program that requires the completion of a teaching degree and its associated qualifications, and to provide an education that will be highly sought after by the employer, particularly in areas where there exists little or no available post-secondary education. The Brand Diploma is also used by those in post-secondary education, and it is an excellent stepping stone into other educational opportunities.
