The software is really good The software is really good, haven't tried the customer service yet.My only main issue is that it deals with the text as line by line and not as a block of text, and sometimes it when editing the text it makes it smaller automatically just by clicking on it.This makes it a bit harder to edit at some times but will see if it affects me much or if I can find a way around it. The rest is really well organized and efficient.

Create a New Datastore In sphere, select the ESX or ESXi host. Click the Configuration tab and then select “Storage" from the Hardware pane. Click "Add Storage.” Select "Disk/LUN" as the storage type and then click “Next."

Datastores in VMware sphere are storage containers for files. They could be located on a local server hard drive or across the network on a SAN. Data stores hide the specifics of each storage device and provide a uniform model for storing virtual machine files.
To resignature a mounted data store copy, first unmount it. Before you resignature a VMS datastore, perform a storage rescan on your host so that the host updates its view of Runs presented to it and discovers any LUN copies. Log in to the sphere Client and select the server from the inventory panel.
Sign in to VMware Infrastructure Client. Select "Storage Adapters" from under Hardware. Confirm "Scan for New Storage Devices" is selected and then click “OK" to assign the LUN to the host.
on esx host, go to configuration tab, storage adapters, then highlight the VMA (fc or iscsi) that the lun is on. Change from “devices" tab to "paths" tab scroll to target. There, you will find the system ID of the netapp filer.
