Quite often when completing a PDF form, we need to add comments or notes to the form. Sometimes it is for questions we cannot answer ourselves or when we need additional feedback. While we may leave the answers blank for the moment, we don’t want to forget to answer them later. In these cases, it is great to have a reminder. Our PDF note app offers you a very handy tool that you may use to add comments or notes to PDF documents online.
In the past, you had to print the form, write your comments on paper sticky notes, and attach them to the document. Now there is a far easier way to add sticky notes to PDFs online and remove them when they are no longer needed. You can simply use PDFfiller’s editor to add sticky notes to your documents!
To get started, you can upload a form to your account or open a document that’s already there. When you open the form you will see a toolbar along the top like this:
You can create a sticky note and place it anywhere in a PDF document. Simply select "Tools" in the editor, then select "Sticky" and click where you'd like to place the note. To resize, drag the corners or side edges of the PDF note, and click inside to start typing.
To choose your font type, click the box with the current font name in the toolbar and choose from the dropdown menu. Choose your font size by clicking the number next to the font and selecting from the dropdown list. You can bold, italicize and underline by clicking the corresponding icon, and change the color by clicking the black box the right of the other font tools. You can also change the color of a sticky note. Click the yellow icon that says "Box" to choose another background.
You can move a sticky note to any other place in the document. To do that, click the note, then click the "Arrow" icon, and drag the note in any direction. When you no longer need the PDF note, you can easily remove it. Just click the note, then click the "Trash can" button in the mini-toolbar just above the sticky note.
When a PDF note taker uses PDFfiller to create sticky notes, they are always legible, well- arranged, easy to change and to remove. Apart from saving a lot of time, you can have fun making sticky notes with PDFfiller.
