For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
To find your weighted average grade, multiply each grade by its assigned weight (expressed as a decimal). If the assigned weights add up to 1, you're done. If the assigned weights don't equal 1, divide your sum by the total of the assigned weights.
Divide each weight expressed as a percentage by 100 to convert to a decimal. For example, if your first test is 20 percent of your grade, divide 20 by 100 to get 0.2. If your second test is worth 30 percent and your final test is worth 50 percent, divide 30 and 50 by 100 to get 0.3 and 0.5.
If you want to calculate your grade in a class that uses the point system, add together the total number of points you have earned for each assignment. Divide that number by the total potential points you could have earned, then multiply the result by 100%.
The grade percentage is calculated by dividing the earned points by the total points possible. The formula is: Points earned / Points Possible, then that percentage is compared to the given scale. I added a custom scale option, and an option for plus and minus grades.
If something counts as 25% of your grade, that means that everything else counts as 75%. In order to figure out your total grade, multiply your current average by .75, then multiply your exam grade by .25 and add the two products together.
Count your correct answers. ... Write the total number of questions or points on the bottom of the fraction. ... Use a calculator to divide the top number by the bottom number. ... Multiple your answer by 100 to get your percentage.
Click Assignments in the course navigation menu. Click the gear icon near the top of the page. Click the checkbox to indicate that you want to weight final grade based on assignment groups. Enter the percentage weights for each assignment group you've created.
Definition of weightage. : the assignment of a quota (as of members of a legislature) to a particular segment of the population as a special favor or concession in a proportion above that allowable on a strictly numerical basis.
To enter your grade book, click on the Grades button on the left side. A list of your students appears on the left, with columns to the right for any activity you have set up to be assessed within Canvas.
Click Assignments in the Course Navigation. Click the Add Assignment Group link. Type the Assignment Group title in the Group Name field [1]. Click the Add Grading Rule button [2] to add a grading rule. Click the Update button to create the Assignment Group. View your new Assignment Group.
