For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
AMCAS does not need your letters of evaluation to verify your application. Therefore, you may submit your application even if your letters have not yet arrived at AMCAS. Your application and letters will be made available to medical schools after your application is verified.
When should I request letters of recommendation? Ideally, you will want to ask for recommendation letters no later than two to three months before you plan on submitting your primary application (i.e., AMCAS). Therefore, if you plan to submit AMCAS in June, you should ask no later than the beginning of May.
Letters sent through the mail can take up to 15 business days from the date of receipt to be matched to the appropriate application.
A "letter of recommendation" is required explicitly by an academic programme and should be sent directly to the university by the professor or employer without you seeing it. The document should be 300-400 words long and should present your character, accomplishments and abilities from an objective perspective.
Click Request a Letter: Start typing in Recommender box: Click Add New: And as a letter writer, when accessing supporting materials attached to a request for a letter of recommendation, now I can simply view them online within a convenient document vieweror I can download them as always.
You can still submit AMCAS without an MCAT score! You can even submit before you've taken the test at all. However, most schools will not consider your application complete without an MCAT score, so if you won't get score back before June 29, keep that in mind.
If you're not an early-bird type of test-taker, however, the good news is that your medical school application can be verified and processed without your MCAT score. ... Once the score is available, the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) will upload it automatically and inform your schools of the update.
The first day you can submit your AMCAS application for review (see steps 1 and 2 above) is May 31. In order to be part of the first group of applicants that medical schools consider in the cycle, it is best to submit your AMCAS as early as possible after this date, if not on that date.
You can pre-write secondaries without your MCAT scores in.
The short answer: Generally, yes, you can add letters of recommendation after submitting your AMCAS application; in fact, this is one of only 3 sections in the AMCAS application that can be modifiedafter submission.
