Overall, it was good. Saying it is free is misleading. I understand marketing, but I spent A TON of time filing out a document only to find out the only way I could retrieve it was to pay for a subscription which I would then have cancel to make it "free". The other issue was that when the document was converted it shuffled page 2 with page 3 and the only way I could correct it was to upgrade the subscription. I would not spend the additional money when I print it and scan it back in the correct order. Again I'm sure it was an additional money making opportunity for you, but not worth the cost for me.

Getting a replacement social security card the same day is always free, and don't trust anyone that says it isn't! Using the SS-5 form provided by the SSA, you can fill out your application at home and bring it into the office. This can save a bit of time if your nearest social security office location is busy.
You should receive your SSN card within 2 weeks after we have everything we need to process your application, including verification of your immigration document with the USCIS. If we are unable to immediately verify your immigration document with the USCIS, it may take 2 additional weeks to receive your card.
If you need a temporary Social Security card for a job, a bank account, university, or any other reason, you may go to the local SSA office and request a temporary printout. From there, you will have to wait about 2 weeks for your new card to arrive.
Date of application received by the SSA. Status of the decision by the SSA. Location of the SSA office handling your claim. Date and time of hearings that must be attended.
It can take the SSA about six weeks to process your application and start your benefits. However, it might take longer if you supply incorrect information, or the SSA requests that you provide additional information to process your case.
According to USCIS, after you receive your approved EAD from USCIS, you should later receive your Social Security card within another two weeks or so.
Once an EAD card is obtained, one can apply for a social security number at a Social Security Office if they bring their passport and follow instructions.
From point of approval, USCIS says the OPT EAD card processing time can take 30 days beyond to receive your EAD card; however, most cards arrive within 7-10 days after approval. In total, it is likely for your OPT application to take 90-120 days. You may establish an account with USCIS (USCIS Account).
The first three digits of the Social Security number corresponded to the location of the Social Security office that issued the number. The middle two numbers in the Social Security number made up the group number, which reflects the order in which the SSA assigned Social Security numbers to new applicants.
The first three (3) digits of a person's social security number are determined by the ZIP Code of the mailing address shown on the application for a social security number. Prior to 1973, social security numbers were assigned by our field offices.
Finding Your Social Security Number If you have a Social Security Number (SSN), you can find it on your Social Security card. Some other places that you can find your SSN are on tax returns, W-2s and bank statements. You may even find it on previously filed USCIS forms.
By using the first three numbers of anyone's SSN, you can often tell in which State they were born, or at the least, one of the States where they once lived.
A Social Security number (SSN) is a nine-digit number that the U.S. government issues to all U.S. citizens and eligible U.S. residents who apply for one. The government uses this number to keep track of your lifetime earnings and the number of years worked.
Although SSNs are issued in some order, there is no simple way to tell a person's age based on his Social Security number.
The Social Security Administration generally does not encourage or allow citizens to change their Social Security numbers, except under certain circumstances. You can change your SSN if you can prove that using your existing number will cause you harm, such as in cases of abuse or harassment.
