For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Open a large PDF file using Preview. Click on File> Export. Once there, from the Quartz Filter drop-down box, choose the Reduce File Size option to make your PDF file smaller.
Go to the "Tool" Tab. Open a PDF and navigate to the "Tool" tab on the left toolbar and choose "Add or Edit Watermark". Create a Watermark. Click the "Create" button and from here you can add a watermark to PDF on Mac, choosing either "Text", "Image" or "PDF" as the source. Set Preferences and Add Watermark to PDF on Mac.
Download and launch PDF Expert 7. Open the file you wish to compress. Tap More at the top right. Select Reduce File Size. Choose the document quality and tap Reduce. PDF Expert has now compressed the current file.
Click the "Tools" menu, select "Annotate" and click "Text." The cursor changes to a cross symbol. Drag the cursor over the image where you want the watermark to appear. A rectangular text box appears on the screen.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF, then choose File > Export. (Don't choose Export as PDF.) Click the Quartz Filter pop-up menu, then choose Reduce File Size.
Open the PDF file that you want to reduce in size. Double click it and it should open in Preview, the default PDF viewer in macOS. Pull down the File menu and select Export. Choose the submenu next to Quartz Filter and choose Reduce File Size. Save the new reduced version of the PDF as usual by hitting Save.
Locate the PDF you want to resize on your Mac and click Open. Click the tab next to Filter at the bottom of your document. Click Reduce file size. The filter provided in ColorSync Utility reduces the scale of your PDF by 50% and restrict images to a maximum of 512 by 128 pixels. Click Apply. Save your PDF.
