It was a life saver for me as I transitioned my insurance business. It looks so much more professional to import supplemental applications and forms and complete them with a keyboard. In the past, I did them by hand even though I worked for one of the largest insurance agencies in the country. In the past, I was unaware of your product, or I would have bought it myself to use.

PDFfiller Review I love that I can pull up any pdf form and fill in the blanks. I do a lot of work with the postal forms and this has been so helpful with keeping the information. I wish you could just double click on a form and open the file, but nothing other than that

Click the Plus icon. Choose To receive Payment. Enter the customer name. Select the invoice by putting a check mark. On the Payment column, enter the partial payment amount (see screenshot). Click Save and close.
Key Points. If you refuse to pay an incorrect invoice, you may be liable to pay statutory interest on the whole amount. ... If you have received an incorrect invoice, the best approach is to pay the minimum amount that you believe is due and then raise a legitimate dispute in relation to the balance.
It's not illegal, per se, to amend an invoice that you've raised, but it is covering your back as it could invite litigation if you amend your own version of it without cancelling the original version — in particular if the customer has actually paid against the original.

How to Reissue an Invoice. ... You should send invoices promptly, but sometimes you need to send them again. For example, you might have made an error on the original invoice, or your client might have lost their copy. To reissue an invoice, make any necessary corrections to the original and change the invoice number.
In general, invoices should not be deleted. In the event that they need to be rescinded or amended, a credit note will usually suffice. A credit note allows you to effectively and legally cancel an invoice.
In and of itself, an invoice is not a legally binding agreement. If an invoice on its own was a legally binding document, then vendors could create bogus invoices and then force their clients to pay them. ... Once both sides agree to an invoice, it then becomes a legal debt and an agreement.
Unless you agree a payment date, the customer must pay you within 30 days of getting your invoice or the goods or service.
Your right to be paid Unless you agree a payment date, the customer must pay you within 30 days of getting your invoice or the goods or service. You can use a statutory demand to formally request payment of what you're owed.
Invoices give your clients an overview of the services you've provided. In my experience, most clients only pay me after I've sent them an invoice. That doesn't mean you can't be paid before sending an invoice, but it is the way that most business transactions work.
