The EIN Field is a single value, which stores the information of which field is being altered (for example, the name of a bank account) and which field was modified. You can change the value of many fields on the same account/item with one Affix, such as a different name, a checkbox that has been ticked, a new item ID, a new currency (which is very common), and so on. In general, most EIN fields have one of the following two values:
F: field value is different from what it was (for example, a change in currency, a new item ID, and so on) X: field can be assigned any value. Note that X fields cannot be set to 'F' (for example, you cannot assign one to a checkbox that has been ticked to 'X').. Employee Identification Number (EIN) Program
The EIN is issued to a company's employees in order to help them comply with both the Internal Revenue Code (“IRC”) and the tax regulations and requirements under the Internal Revenue and Revenue Service (“IRS”) regulations as follows. In certain tax years only, a company can be designated in an Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) form for one or more employees to receive an Employer Identification Number (“EIN”) based on the Company's EIN. Employer Identification Number Program — EIN Program
The Employer Identification Number (EIN) Program is one of the many ways that the IRS identifies taxpayers each year. At the time, the Federal Revenue Service received only three or four Wins annually, but the EIN Program increased to five or six in 1995 and six more in 1997.
