Assemble Wage Notice: edit PDFs from anywhere

The PDF is a universal document format for business purposes, thanks to the availability. You can open them on from any device, and they will be readable the same way. You can open it on any computer or phone running any OS — it will appear exactly the same.

The next key reason is security: PDF files are easy to encrypt, so they're safe for sharing data. That’s why it is essential to get a secure editing tool when working online. In addition to password protection features, some platforms give you access to an opening history to track down people who read or completed the document before.

pdfFiller is an online document management and editing tool that allows to create, modify, sign, and send your PDF files using just one browser tab. Convert an MS Word file or a Google Sheet, start editing it and create fillable fields to make a document singable. Once you’ve finished editing a document, you can send it to recipients to complete, and you'll get a notification when they're done.

Use editing features such as typing text, annotating, and highlighting. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to cloud storage. Add images into your PDF and edit its appearance. Collaborate with other people to fill out the document. Add fillable fields and send documents for signing. Change a document’s page order.

Get your documents completed in four simple steps:

01
Get started by uploading your document.
02
Proceed to editing features by clicking the Tools tab. Now you can change the document's content.
03
To insert fillable fields, click the 'Add Fillable Fields' tab on the right and add some for text, signatures, images and more.
04
When you finish editing, click the 'Done' button and email, print or save your document.

Simply put, PDFFILLER has made my life a whole lot 'simpler'. I am no longer buried up to my eyeballs in paperwork (just up to my knees now! ha!) Since i began using PDFfiller, my desk is now, finally, Organized! Before PDFfiller - you couldnt even see the glass top on my computer desk., but now, since using PDFfiller, you can actually see every square inch of my desk! there isnt a single piece of paper 'waiting to be scanned', or filled out, so on and so forth. Which obviously has a huge impact on my ability to stay on track and stay focused! Needless to say I absolutely LOVE pdffiller! NO REGRETS!

Nice to have It's good to know that you can use something like this to fill out your documents. You can add and fill out any document you want. It can be confusing when you are using it. We are using ours online and sometimes you have to wait to do what you want. I have a feeling that it can be faster.

The Wage Theft Prevention Act (WPA) took effect on April 9, 2011. The law requires employers to give written notice of wage rates to each new hire. The notice must include: Rate or rates of pay, including overtime rate of pay (if it applies) How the employee is paid: by the hour, shift, day, week, commission, etc.
Pay in lieu of notice. If a notice period such as one month is required for an employer to terminate a contract, a 'payment in lieu of notice' is immediate compensation at an amount equal to that an employee would have earned as salary or wages by working through the whole notice period: for example, one month's salary

An employee can be paid for their notice period or part of it instead of working. It's also called 'severance pay'. When an employee receives PILOT, they are not usually entitled to holiday days for the notice period. They do, however, continue to receive any company benefits specified in their contract.
Of course, if you are required to give employees more than two weeks' notice, the amount of notice pay will be more than two weeks' compensation. Calculating notice pay is a matter of simple arithmetic. Divide the annual salary by 52. Then, expressing the number of weeks in terms of days, multiply $100/day by 14 days.
PILOT should normally be made immediately on termination of employment. PILOT payments may or may not be taxable depending on how they are handled and paid. There are three different ways of making a PILOT payment as follows: PILOT payment made under terms of employment where employee is entitled to it.
The Minnesota Wage Theft Law helps make sure workers receive their proper wages from their employers. It also outlines new rules for Minnesota workers to follow, such as including additional information on pay stubs and providing employees with a notice when they're hired. The law went into effect on July 1, 2019.
