NVC states it takes 30-60 days to review case file after documents submitted.
All applicants for an immigrant visa must appear in person at the Consular Section for an interview. Depending upon your consulate, once NVC/consulate receives all required documents, usually NVC/Consulate will schedule an interview within 60 to 90 days, if the priority date is current.
Expected NVC Timeline: Once USCIS approves an immigrant petition, it can take up to six weeks for NVC to receive the file from USCIS. Upon receipt, NVC enters the case into its system, which can take up to three weeks. NVC will send the applicant a letter providing their NVC case number.
While the time depends on the local USCIS Field Office that will be conducting the interview, you can usually expect the interview to occur anywhere from 4-7 months after you have mailed in your application.
