To create a token via the Azure portal, first, navigate to the storage account you'd like to access under the Settings section then click Shared access signature. You can see an example of what this might look like below. There are many permissions you can grant SAS tokens and start/end times.
A shared access signature (SAS) is a URI that grants restricted access rights to Azure Storage resources. You can provide a shared access signature to clients who should not be trusted with your storage account key but to whom you wish to delegate access to certain storage account resources.

Open File Explorer. Navigate to the This PC item on the left-hand side of the window. Copy the UNC path from the Connect pane in the Azure portal. Select the drive letter and enter the UNC path.
A shared access signature (SAS) is a URI that allows you to specify the time span and permissions allowed for access to a storage resource such as a blob or container. The time span and permissions can be derived from a stored access policy or specified in the URI.
SAS token. The SAS token is a string that you generate on the client side, for example by using one of the Azure Storage client libraries. The SAS token is not tracked by Azure Storage in any way. You can create an unlimited number of SAS tokens on the client side.
Register your app with Azure AD. Get authorization. Get an access token. Call Microsoft Graph with the access token. Use a refresh token to get a new access token.
There are two steps to verify the token. First, verify the signature of the token to ensure the token was issued by Azure Active Directory. Second, verify the claims in the token based on the business logic. For example, we need to verify the ISS and aud claim if you were developing a single tenant app.
SAS Token Authentication. SAS Token Authentication. Summary. The metadata server generates and validates a single-use identity token for each authentication event. This has the effect of causing participating SAS servers to accept users who are connected to the metadata server.
The internal mechanisms are SAS internal authentication and SAS token authentication. External mechanisms integrate SAS into your computing environment. External mechanisms include direct LDAP authentication, host authentication (credential-based), Integrated Windows authentication, and Web authentication.
