Add as many signers as you need and enter their email addresses. Move the toggle Set a signing order to enable or disable sending your document in a specific order.

Note: you can change the default signer name (e.g. Signer 1) by clicking on it.

How do I make an electronic signature valid?

What makes a digital signature legal?

Digital signature or standard electronic signature is actually a coded, encrypted, legally binding digital footprint. The digital signature is made of unique encoded messages one for each signee that join together to make a complete, legally binding, standard electronically signed document.

Is an e-signature valid?

Simply put, yes, digital signatures are valid and enforceable. As long as certain requirements are met, they have the same legal effect as their written equivalents. Does a legal signature have to be in cursive?

Traditionally, signatures are in cursive, but it can be argued that it's not a requirement. This means that with a wet signature (i.e. a signature that is written rather than electronically typed), a person could potentially use their printed (non-cursive) name or even a symbol like a happy face as a valid signature.
