Excellent support and customer service I registered for an annual membership, but I didn't pay attention that the membership fee is calculated in US dollars. I live in ****** and it was expensive for me. Select text by using the keyboard Note: To select an entire document, press CTRL+A. Place the insertion point at the beginning of the word, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW. Move the pointer to the end of the word, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+LEFT ARROW.

Launch the application containing the paragraph of text you want to select. Press and hold the first word in the paragraph and drag the cursor to the beginning of the word. While holding down [Alt], click and drag up or down. (You must press [Alt] first.) To select two noncontinuous blocks of text, select the first bit of text. Then, hold down [Ctrl] while you select the next, and the next, and the next — use it to select two or several non-contiguous areas.
Selecting is the process of highlighting text or picking an object. For example, a user may select text to copy, cut, or move that text to an alternate location or select a file they want to view. If something is selected, you can deselect text or another object by clicking somewhere else on the screen.
To select a single word double click within the word. To select the entire paragraph triple click within the paragraph. To select entire document, in Home tab, in Editing group click Select then choose Select All option or press CTRL+A.
To select a word, double-click it. To select a single line of text, click in the left margin next to the line. To select a sentence, hold down [Ctrl] and then click anywhere in the sentence. To select a paragraph, click three times in the paragraph.
Click the mouse to set the insertion pointer where you want the block to start. This spot is the anchor point. Scroll through the document using the scroll bar. ... To mark the end of the block, press and hold the Shift key and click the mouse where you want the block to end.
Re: Selecting multiple lines of text at once Double-click: select word, triple-click: select sentence, quad-click: select paragraph. You can hold the Ctrl key to make multiple selections, or use the “ADD” selection mode (click the status bar, where it says “STD”, to cycle through the selection modes).
