Great editor, Could have some more funcationality but does 90% of what I want to do. Previously purchased another program (Soda PDF) and couldn't get my head around it. PDFfiller is soo much easier to use, with heaps of online help on how to do anything you want to do.

The comment tag is used to insert comments in the source code. Comments are not displayed in the browsers. You can use comments to explain your code, which can help you when you edit the source code at a later date. This is especially useful if you have a lot of code.
6 Answers. To comment out is to render a block of code inert by turning it into a comment. To uncomment something means to remove the characters that makes it a comment. The expression only makes sense if the comment contains something that would work as code, usually something that was commented out earlier.
Comments. You can add a comment to the wiki markup text by simply putting the '#' sign as the first character of a line. The entire line, including the line end, will be ignored.
To put a comment within a line, type % followed by the comment text; MATLAB treats all the information after the % on a line as a comment. To uncomment any line, delete the comment symbol, %. To comment a contiguous group of lines, type %{before the first line and %} after the last line you want to comment.
The first is called a single line comment and, as implied, only applies to a single line in the “source code" (the program). The second is called a Block comment and refers usually refers to a paragraph of text. A block comment has a start symbol and an end symbol and everything between is ignored by the computer.
You should first strive to make your code as simple as possible to understand without relying on comments as a crutch. Only at the point where the code cannot be made easier to understand should you begin to add comments. It helps to keep your audience in mind when you're writing code.
Comment function implemented by you with function description, author name, date, lists of parameters, return type, and logic behind solving the problem. If you are going to make any changes in a function written earlier, you should describe what changes you are making and why.
In FORTRAN, BASIC, and COBOL languages, comments are full lines; and each comment is begun by a specific comment mark in a fixed position on the line. In BASIC, Remark lines start with REM. A FORTRAN comment is indicated by a C in position 1, and only works if the C is in position 1. The comment takes the entire line.
Line comments either start with a comment delimiter and continue until the end of the line, or in some cases, start at a specific column (character line offset) in the source code, and continue until the end of the line. Some programming languages employ both block and line comments with different comment delimiters.
To create a single line comment in JavaScript, you place two slashes “//" in front of the code or text you wish to have the JavaScript interpreter ignore. When you place these two slashes, all text to the right of them will be ignored, until the next line.
Mention the content. Whenever you're writing a comment try to mention the content of the post the comment is for. Don't thank anybody. Don't go off-topic. Responding to the first commenter. Get a Gravatar. Using a keyword-rich name. Getting your grammar right lolz.
