Step 1: First open your Word document and go to “File” and then click on “Options”. Step 2: Switch to the “customized Ribbon”. Step 3: Then go to the right side of the window and then click on “New Group” and then “Add”.
In a drop-down list, users can only select from the list of choices. Select the content control, and then select Properties. To create a list of choices, select Add under Drop-Down List Properties. Repeat this step until all the choices are in the drop-down list.
In Word, open a blank document and click the Developer tab. In the Controls group, click the Legacy Form dropdown and choose Drop-Down Form Field. Repeat step 2 to add a second dropdown field.
Open Word 2010 and click the “File” tab. Click the “Developer” tab. Type the word or phrase that you want to appear in the drop-down list and click “Ok.” Repeat this step until you have included all the words for the list. Click the drop-down list and notice the choices that appear.
