Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
These white lines are caused by clogged nozzles that aren't dispensing ink. Some printer manufacturers are trying to solve this problem by incorporating the print head into the ink cartridge. Alcohol is a solvent and will usually help to dissolve any ink buildup that might be clogging the print head.
Usually streaks or vertical lines are caused by empty toner cartridge or toner itself is damaged. It's also due to a dirty pick up roller or paper path. You can contact HP Tech Support so they can replace your printer.
Remove the cartridge and rock it back and forth a few times over a trashcan to evenly redistribute the toner powder. Reinstall the toner cartridge and run a test print. If the quality does not improve, check your printer's user guide to see if there is a cartridge cleaning function built into the machine.
Put your lined paper into the printer. Click "Start," and then click your user name. Locate the image or document that you want to print. Right-click the file and click "Print." This will now print your document to lined paper.
You can use the lined paper templates for Word to print your own lined paper with different line heights or line colors. That is why the lines do not extend all the way to the edges like they do on common notebook filler paper that you buy at the store.
Create a Lined Notebook Paper Template in Word. Open Word. If the program's current default of a traditional 8.5 inch-by-11 inch paper doesn't fit your lined document requirements, click the "Page Layout" tab. Release the Shift key and the left mouse button and the Word horizontal line appears.
You can use plain paper. however, for the best results, you'll want to use one of Epson's special inkjet papers. You can load a sheet of loose-leaf or other paper with holes as shown.
Printer heads and rollers get dirty over time. While not exclusive to low-resolution prints, debris on the printer heads and rollers can produce vertical lines in the print because the ink is either being blocked from going on to the page or is being smeared once on the page.
