It beats my hand writing. I would be nice if it did the calculations also. But you can't have everything. I'll probably be only using this for my state tax. There on line program stinks.

Convert a Numbers spreadsheet in Numbers for Mac If you want to open a Numbers spreadsheet in another app like Microsoft Excel, use Numbers to convert the spreadsheet to an appropriate format. In Numbers, open the Numbers spreadsheet that you want to convert. Choose File > Export To, then select the format.
You could use LibreOffice or Google Docs for free, or if you have a Mac you can use Apple's work apps for far less than Office costs. At the new Office.com, you can use basic versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote for free in your browser.
You can open Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (files with a . Xls or. Xlsx filename extension), delimited text files, or fixed-width text files into Numbers and make changes to them. See Import an Excel or text file into Numbers on Mac.
With the spreadsheet open, hold down the Option key on your keyboard and choose File > Save As (from the File menu at the top of your screen). Type a name for the copy, then press Return.
