Add a shape to a PowerPoint 2011 or 2016 slide. Add a hyperlink to the shape. Save the file as PDF and open in Reader. The hyperlink is gone.
Open PowerPoint presentation and click Print. Select Universal Document Converter from the list of printers and click Properties. Go to File Format and select PDF Document. Select Password protected in PDF Standard like shown on the screenshot below.
Add an attachment to your presentation. Right-click an object or text in PowerPoint and select Hyperlink. In the address section, type the following: data/downloads/your filename. Pdf. Click OK. Publish.
