Lock It Up: Password Protect Files. Password protect any file or folder. Use the Lock It Up Chrome Extension to password-protect any file or folder. Simply drag-and-drop files/folders into the side panel, open the popup, enter a password, and a file will be downloaded that is AES-256 bit encrypted.
Open PowerPoint presentation and click Print. Select Universal Document Converter from the list of printers and click Properties. Go to File Format and select PDF Document. Select Password protected in PDF Standard like shown on the screenshot below.
To password protect an Office document, first open it in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access. Click the File menu at the top-left corner of the screen. On the Info pane, click the Protect Document button and select Encrypt with Password.
Open the PDF and choose Tools > Protect > Encrypt > Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
