Open the PDF document that contains the text you want to copy. Select the text that you want to copy. 2. Right-click on the selected text and choose "Copy" or press "Ctrl+C" on your keyboard.
Copying Headers and Footers Select the first document. Choose the Header and Footer option from the View menu. Use the controls in the dialog box to display the header or footer you want to copy. Select all the elements (text and graphics) in the header or footer. Press Ctrl+C. Select the second document.
Using the System Shortcuts The copy command Ctrl+C (Mac: ⌘ + C) will copy any selected annotation to the system clipboard. If an annotation is in the system clipboard when the paste command Ctrl+V (Mac: ⌘ + V) is pressed, a copy of that annotation will be placed in the center of the screen.
In the comments list, select the comments you want to export. Note: To open the comments list, choose Tools > Comments. From the options menu in the comments list, choose Export Selected To Data File.
Click on the Page tab and select the page with the header you want to copy. Click on the Header option on the right-hand side of the page. Choose Copy Header from the drop-down menu. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C.
If you can't copy text from PDF, it's most likely because the Content Copying option is disabled. You'll need the password for the PDF to unlock that feature.
