Kiosk mode is not available on Windows 10 Home. Which type of user account will be the kiosk account? The kiosk account can be a local standard user account, a local administrator account, a domain account, or an Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) account, depending on the method that you used to configure the kiosk.
Kiosk Mode using Windows 10 Home Microsoft has recently introduced a new Kiosk Mode feature in Windows 10. Also, Kiosk Mode only supports one app and is not viable for those setups requiring a locked down system with more than one application available. With Secure Lockdown, these issues are nonexistent.
Access Settings To add an app to use in Kiosk mode, tap on the screen 5 times. Enter your default password and press 'Go To Admin Settings'. Within admin settings you can allow websites, manage multiple users and adjust system settings. To lock down the device to a single app, press 'Allowed Applications'.
Open Settings. Click on Accounts. Click on Family & other users. Under "Set up a kiosk," click the Assigned access button. Click the Get started button. Type a short, but descriptive name for the kiosk account. Click the Next button. Select a Microsoft Store app from the list.
The Kiosk mode is a way of locking down a device when the device is intended to be shared by multiple users or in a public setting. Any device with the Kiosk mode enabled would allow users to access only one specific app and not tab out to use any other apps.
