It has allowed me to "type" forms that I would have otherwise needed to hand write or type on an old fashioned typewriter (which I still have). I didn't like the way the numeric columns lined up. I didn't see a way to insure that they were all right aligned.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
The local Housing Authority will determine their payment standard or the maximum amount they are willing to pay for each number of bedrooms. This payment standard will be between 90 and 110 percent of the Fair Market Rent.
Under the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, most tenants will pay 30% of their monthly income. The Public Housing Authority that issued and approved the voucher will pay the landlord the remainder of the rent and utility costs.
While federal law prohibits you from charging more rent to Section 8 tenants than you would unsubsidized renters, you can charge more than HUD's fair market statistics. Bear in mind, however, that HUD does not allow Section 8 families to spend more than 40 percent of their household incomes on rent and utilities.
Use the '40 Times Rent Rule' to Calculate Your Maximum Affordable Rent. Typically, landlords want to see that your income is more than 40 times the monthly rent. So take your pre-tax annual income including annual salary, bonuses, dividends and any other income and divide that number by 40.
Most landlords and property managers require that your monthly take-home income is at least three times the monthly rent, and if you have a roommate, half your income must be three times your portion of the rent. If you earn $2,000 a month, you qualify for a $666 rent payment.
Calculate the Percentage Calculate 30 percent of your monthly adjusted gross income. For a two-person household with no deductions making $18,000 per year, 30 percent of $1,500 monthly equals $450. Using this method, your public housing rent, or TTP, would be $450 a month.
Unlike other housing programs, tax credit rent is based on the average income in your county or other local areas. This average is known as the AGI, which HUD updates each year. Your actual income matters when it comes to determining if you qualify for a low-income apartment at a tax credit property.
One guideline for figuring out how much rent you can afford is the 40 times the rent rule. In some cities, such as New York, landlords require tenants to have an annual income that is at least 40 times the monthly rent. For example, if the rent is $2,000 a month, you'd need to make $80,000 a year to be approved.
