For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
If you need to edit or modify the document, you will need to use OpenOffice. DOCX Word Documents are different from the DOC version in that they use the Microsoft Office Open XML format. The Open XML format makes it easy for other programs, such as Apache OpenOffice, to read DOCX files (and other Open XML file types).
Launch Microsoft Word and open the template to edit by clicking the Open option on the File tab. To find templates more quickly, click the Files drop-down menu and select All Word Templates, then double-click the template to edit.
If you want to edit a template, choose Reopen. Change the Format to Template, and then navigate to the Templates folder, select the template you want, and then click Open.
Click File > Open. Double-click This PC. (In Word 2013, double-click Computer). Browse to the Custom Office Templates folder that's under My Documents. Click your template, and click Open. Make the changes you want, then save and close the template.
In Word, open Preferences>File Locations. Under File Types, select User Templates. Click on Modify and navigate to the Templates folder in your MUD. Choose it.
Disable Document Protection If you cannot edit your Word document, it's probably protected with password. Open Word 2016 document you have problems with. Go to Developer tab (if you don't have Developer tab, go to File>Options>Customize Ribbon> and select Developer) In the Protection group, go to Document Protection.
