GitHub has added a new feature to pull requests, allowing developers to mark their requests as a draft. Marking a request as a draft allows the developer to highlight to other collaborators that their code is a work-in-progress and requires feedback before being integrated into the main project.
To create a pull request that is ready for review, click Create Pull Request. To create a draft pull request, use the drop-down and select Create Draft Pull Request, then click Draft Pull Request.
Creating a Pull Request Go to the repository page on GitHub. And click on "Pull Request" button in the repo header. Pick the branch you wish to have merged using the “Head branch" dropdown. You should leave the rest of the fields as is, unless you are working from a remote branch.
From your repository, click + in the global (leftmost) sidebar. Then, click Create a pull request under Get to work. Bitbucket displays the request form. Complete the form: You've already got an automatic Title, your last commit message. Click Create pull request.
When you are creating a Pull Request in Azure Git Repo, click the down arrow in Create button and click Create as draft. Such a draft Pull Request will be marked as draft near its ID. These Pull Requests cannot be completed until they are published.
Select View > Team Explorer to open Team Explorer. You can also select Ctrl+\\ then Ctrl’m. Select Home, then choose Pull Requests. Select New Pull Request to open up a web browser where you can create the new pull request in the Azure DevOps Services web portal.

Using Pull Requests is built in to TFS and Visual Studio. Pull requests is a mechanism where you explicitly ask the server to merge your changes (commits) into a target branch. You can then set up rules for conditions for merging, and also a set of automatic steps that can be taken.
Open your project with Visual Studio. Open View > Team Explorer. Change to Branches tab. Right Click > Merge From > Select. Merge from branch: master, Click Merge button. Choose the conflict file(s) Then resolve the conflicts. Then commit the merge.
