Perfect for paperwork My overall experience would be that I love it and plan to continue using it going forward in life. It's much easier then printing out paperwork, filling it out, scanning it and sending it back to whomever. Its extremely convenient. I love most that I'm able to edit any pdf and the save and and either email it or print it. There's even a function to sign the pdf right on the computer. Awesome. I do not like that it sometime freezes. I could be filling out a form and sometimes it'll freeze and automatically refresh and everything I put in is gone so I'd have to start over. It doesn't happen often but has happened to me before.

An email attachment is placed in a temporary folder by default when you open and save the file. Any edits you make are saved to the file in that location. If you try to re-open the attachment (after you've closed the edited document and email application), the changes are not displayed.
It's not unusual for people to attach files to messages. When you receive a message with an attachment, you can select the attachment to view, edit, or download it. Some attachment types will open in a window next to your reading pane, allowing you to read and (in some cases) edit them without leaving Outlook Web App.
Double-click the email (Open in new window). Click actions and then Edit message. Open the attachment in a new window. Edit and save the attachment. Save the message, then close.
Save one or more attachments Click the attachment in the Reading Pane or the open message. On the Attachments tab, in the Actions group, click Save As. You can also right-click the attachment, and then click Save As. To select multiple attachments, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the attachments.
Choose Google Docs or Google Slides to open the Word or PowerPoint file, respectively. The file will convert and open for editing in Google Apps. I expect we'll see the one-click to edit Word and PowerPoint attachments in the near future. Easily open and edit Office attachments received in Gmail with Google Apps.
Just click the “View” link at the bottom of a Gmail message and the viewer will take it from there. If you decide you want to edit the file, clicking “Edit online” will open it in Google Docs, or you can download it to your desktop from there.
Double-click the message to open it in its own windows. Place the message in Edit Mode. Open the attachments. Make the changes to the attachments. Save and close the attachment. Save and close the Outlook message.
