After a slow start and feeling misled by the "fill in your form for free" and then having to pay, I did get a full refund. The tech support was excellent - they were the only ones, that I could find, that could get me the rather complex fill in form from NY State Tax authorities (RP-5217). I still feel I should not have to pay a third party to file a required tax form - but that is an issue I'll have to take up with NYS, wish me good luck with that one.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
You Are Not Going To Drop Your Dog Off At The Local Shelter. Do Not Put Post Your Dog On Sites Like Craigslist Or Give Them To A Stranger You Know Nothing About. Find Out If There's Any Way You Can Keep Your Dog. Get All Of Your Dog's Paperwork Together. Reach Out To Friends, Family, And Rescue Groups.
Problem pet behavior, moving, and health problems (for owners and dogs) are among the top reasons people give up their pets (both dogs and cats), according to a 2015 survey by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Responsibly surrendering an animal can be the best option for the dog.
If you still can't keep your dog Another option is to surrender your dog to the local council or an animal shelter / rescue organization. This decision to surrender your dog to a pound or shelter not be taken lightly. Staff at pounds and shelters do their best to rehouse dogs, and do find homes for most of them.
Tip #1: Talk to Your Dog's Breeder or Rescue Group. Tip #2: Spread the Net Wide. Tip #3: Buy Time If You Can. Tip #4: Help for Service Members. Tip #5: Check Out Potential Adopters. Breaking the Adoption Contract. Rehoming a Dog with Behavior Problems.
The fastest way to rehome a dog is to surrender him to a shelter but that's not necessarily the best way. While shelters do their best to help the animals in their care, some cannot find homes for every pet.
It usually costs somewhere between $50 and $150 to surrender your dog. The cost varies based on several factors such as your location, the type of facility, and the age of the pet.
Surrendering your pet to a shelter If you are not able to find a home on your own, surrendering your pet to a humane society, animal rescue, or municipal animal shelter is a viable option. Consider each organisation's surrender and adoption policies before you give up your dog or cat.
You can surrender your cat by bring him to an open admissions shelter or rescue organisation. If ensuring your cat ends up adopted into a loving home is important to you, there is another option that will help your cat be seen by millions of potential adopters.
Surrenders are by appointment ONLY please phone our office between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday on (02) 9519 7201. If you've made an appointment to bring your cat to Cat Protection, please bring with you any health records, microchip forms and relevant paperwork belonging to your cat (e.g. desexing certificate).
Don't drop them off at a shelter or vet; you are responsible for their lives, even if you don't like them much. Find them a home. If you don't like him put him up for adoption to a CARING animal charity which keeps the animal until adopted.
Surrendering your Unwanted Pet Most shelters will ask for a relinquishment fee, a fee to help cover the very basic care of your pet. This can be $10 or more. Most open admission shelters still accept pets when owners cannot afford the fee, however even a small amount of money is appreciated.
Do NOT take it to a county shelter. They kill them. There is only one option and that is to find a local no kill rescue. This is the most humane thing you can do, however, be aware that you will be setting up your cat to a lifetime of abandonment issues.
Animals are accepted only by appointment. Call 952-HELP-PET (952-435-7738) to schedule an appointment to surrender your pet. Animal Humane Society helps thousands of dogs, cats, and critters in need find loving homes each year. We take in every animal surrendered to us regardless of its health, age, breed, or behavior.
One study showed that more than half of the people surrendering animals because of moving also report behavior problems. In other words, the move often isn't the real issue. Behavioral problems are the most common reason why people give up their dogs, and they are the second most common reason for cats.
Many cats end up at shelters because of allergies. 1. Too many in house Cats multiply quickly and very often a person will relinquish a feline because there are too many cats in the house. Cats can be very territorial with each other and so having a lot of cats in a small home can be very stressful for the feline.
