difficult to sign and other parties not knowing the software, I feel I need to be cautious. Too costly for a novice one time user. Overall, it has been helpful. thanks!

As a new small business operator, this software has helped me with so many tasks without having to leave work. The only draw back is that many times, recipients can't open sent pdf files and another route has to be taken.

From the Apple menu, select System Preferences. Go to the Security & Privacy pane. Select the FileVault tab. Click the lock to make changes and click the Turn On FileVault button. As the warning states, store this key in a safe place. Restart your Mac and the encryption process will begin.
Launch Preview from the /Applications/ folder and open the PDF that needs to be converted. Pull down the File menu and select Export (if you mapped Export to the Save As shortcut just hit Command+Shift+S) From the 'Export As' window, click the contextual menu next to Format and choose JPEG
Open the PDF file with preview in Mac and at the top, click on the File menu and select "Export" . Step 2. On the Export window, change the format to "PNG" and adjust quality and resolution accordingly. Now hit "Save" and the PDF file would be converted to PNG.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF that you want to password-protect. Choose File > Export, then select Encrypt. You can also enter a new name for the PDF if you want to create a passworded copy and keep the original PDF unencrypted. Type a password, then retype it to verify the password. Click Save.
Open the PDF and choose Tools > Protect > Encrypt > Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
