This is an easy software to use. The first time I didn't realize it was a "for fee" product. I am glad I stuck with it and paid to use it. I am just signed up for the month and my husband and I are filling out job applications. It is really convenient!

a. You can use royalty-free images for any commercial use, including t-shirt printing. b. If you find any image or other things on the public domain, most probably its intellectual property rights have expired.
Although not all quotes are legally protected, when using quotes from famous figures in t-shirt designs its best to quote the person who originally said it. Just give them their credit, even if it's in super tiny print, or in the product description on your website.
Quotes are considered intellectual property, which is protected under the law. This means that if you're not a quote's original author, and you want to SELL something with the quote on it, one of two things must be true: You have the author's written permission to use their words on your work.
While it may take several months to receive your certification of copyright, your T-shirt design is legally copyrighted, registered and protected as soon as the Copyright Office receives a complete application, payment and copies of your design.
An average price for a 1 color print on a 100% cotton t-shirt ranges from $5.50 to $9.00 depending on the number of shirts in the order, and you charge much more for a 6 color shirt. An order for 72 shirts would take less than 25 minutes to print, and you would charge at least $8.00 per shirt for 6 colors or $576.00.
Your cost can be anywhere from $8-$18, if we're talking shirts. These factors affect price: quantity of shirts to print. Number of colors, spot colors (this can significantly drive up the cost)
Answer: DOG printing costs less than screen printing for most small quantity orders. Screen printing typically costs less for large quantity orders.
Black and white digital printing is cheaper, but there's no difference if you decide you want one color or one hundred. An additional screen is required for each new color with screen printing which means any additional colors will cost you.
T-shirt printing is by far the most popular and common activity in the screen printing shop, and for very good reason. A good screen printing company can be very profitable right out of the gate, with worker salaries and employer annual sales at very impressive numbers.
It is relatively cheap to open a screen printing business. The specialized printer you need can typically cost $10,000 or less; the supplies you need to start, including many shirts to print on, can typically be obtained for less than $5,000.
Plan Accordingly. Just like any other business, planning is integral. Educate Yourself. After you find your niche, learn everything you can to make the best product possible. Create the Perfect Team. Find Space. Equip YourselfThe Right Way. Communicate.
DOG printing is typically favored for those fast, low run, high color count jobs; whereas, screen print will offer a better range of color, more flexibility in what it can print on, better hand on dark and a much larger printable size range. As technology advances, the gap between these two methods will narrow.
Fading: Although, both printing processes are effective, screen printing will last longer. Shirts that are printed using vinyl will usually last for a few years before fading. On the other hand, shirts that have been screen printed will last the entire lifetime of the shirt.
